Spicing Up In A Theatre Near You!

Woohoo!!! further details of the Spice Girls Musical: Viva Forever have started to emerge. Apparently it will open in December, at the Piccadilly Theatre (which currently hosts the musical Ghost). I must say I am uber excited about this news! I absolutely (maybe ashamedly) love the Spice Girls, and have a whole host of their songs still on my Ipod.

So this news got me thinking on who is my favourite Spice Girl out of the lot and from 5 years old til now, my preference still hasn't changed; I am a Posh Spice Fan! I am therefore curious to know which Spice is the most popular with fans still to date. Let me know guys!

Hmmm Philosophy... That is the Question?!

For those of you who may not have known, as part of my further studies, i have an A-level in Philosophy and it was only the other day, my family were asking about what was so interesting about the topic. I loved delving into new thoughts and ideas and Philosophy is just that! So i thought i would try and share the magic of Philosophy for you, by showing you a few thoughts in Philosophy for you to get your head round! Let me know your thoughts guys!

i) Is something only good because God says it is, or was it already good which is why God commands it?

ii) What happens at death? Does the soul die with the individual as does an Archer's skill dies with the Archer?

iii) If a tree falls in the forest and no-one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?

Webby Situations...

Since summer is starting, so are the emergence of those "oh-so-dreaded" creepy crawlies! Now while I am not that afraid of them (well some) they are still giving me a lot of nuisance! For the past week, I have taken advantage of the sunny weather and done the daily clothes wash for myself and the family. However, every single day I go to dry the clothes outside on the washing line...there they are..... WEBS! all over my washing line and pegs!

Now apparently, the one way to stop this from happening is to use a couple of drops of lemon juice and dilute it with one cup of water. Next using a damp cloth, wipe it all over the washing line and pegs. This is based on the thinking that spiders have taste buds on their feet, and they will be deterred from the lemon scent which is why you should effectively have no more webs! This is a top tip I am willing to try out for all you web-haters out there! I shall keep you updated on how it goes. In the mean time , i would appreciate any web-tastic deterrent ideas from you guys!

Something for the Boys: WARNING Football "Hazard"

So the biggest news coming from the transfer market to date has to be Chelsea's apparent signing of Lille playmaker Eden Hazard (below) for a rumored 32 million.

Soon to be Chelsea Left Winger: Eden Hazard
This is great news for the club! It's long been needing a player of this quality for many years, with the likes of Malouda and other wingers not reaching the quality which a club like Chelsea FC has been yearning for. This also shows the clubs commitment to bring in fresh young players to the squad, especially since the departure of Didier Drogba (a true Chelsea legend). Rumors are still circulating regarding Chelsea's attacking force; with Torres already assured of playing a more integral role of the Chelsea team, the signing of Porto striker Hulk would only bolster the clubs confidence in assuring football fans, attacking play is what Chelsea are looking to do.

Summers Here: Wax Away!

This blog is all about sharing the latest tips and big ideas out there, and it would selfish of me not to talk about the latest hair removal product on the market; especially as Summer is creeping its way towards us!

Veet Easywax Electrical Roll On:

This product is a self heating wax system with a roll on applicator (RRP: £29.99 however i brought it for half price at Boots)... great for using at home! Simply Place the cartridge inside the applicator, place on the heating device for 30 mins ( for me, it needed at least an 40 minutes, before the wax was rolling out easily) and away you go! Its currently been 19 days and I am just starting to see hair growth (excellent, and definitely beats shaving!)

Euros: Summer Fun or Summer Bum?!

With summer already on the way in the UK, so are the many celebrations and tournaments; including the eagerly anticipated Euro 2012!! (Come on England!) However, firstly i need to get out my frustrations about the Eurovision Song Contest! For all those that aren't aware, the Eurovision Song Contest is an annual contest involving members of the European Countries. Each year, the countries submit a song which is broadcast live, and viewers are able to vote for which countries song they like the best. This however is flawed, as people tend to vote for countries they are next to and have great political relations with i.e. Norwegian voters tend to vote for Finland having the best song etc.

Not only has this meant that the contest is not taken as seriously as it was before, but the UK brought in Engelbert Humperdinck as its representative! (Who?! I hear you ask.... EXACTLY!) This just shows how pointless these shows are becoming; only reason i turn on, is to watch Graham Norton's fantastic and hilarious commentary.

I do have to eat some humble pie this time, as this years winner was deservedly won. The club song is uber catchy and fits in great with the opening of Summer. Check it out below:

Opening Thoughts

Hi All! Well I must admit i am slightly nervous setting up this blog! I ponder on who would be interested on what I have to say?!? I mean 6 months ago blogs were an alien concept to me (ashamedly) , that was until my wonderful friend Rosh (whose blog link i will add later on) told me about the wonderful world of blogging. It's a great way to get your thoughts and ideas out there. Everybody is unique and special in their own way, and blogging allows me to put across my individuality including my hobbies and interests (which will be very different compared to the next person). Anyway, i won't natter on for too long; all in all I hope you all enjoy reading, and gain some interesting thoughts/tips along the way!

P.s. I would love to hear about your thoughts and comments on any of my posts, so if you have any ideas or tips relating to my post, please feel free to post away! I welcome learning new things off friends and other bloggers
